Out of Sight – Out of Mind
If you, knowing what you know, were living in Ukraine today, would you think the Tribulation was beginning? Things are terrible, chaos in the streets, rockets blasting schools, neighborhood apartment buildings, even medical facilities. Some are saying, “Yes;” others, “Maybe.” I understand – the time is close, but not yet. The rapture of the church has not taken place yet, so tribulation is here for Ukraine, but “The Tribulation” hasn’t started yet.
A lifelong question is “when will the Lord set up His Kingdom on earth?” Each time this question was addressed to Jesus, His response was, “You don’t need to know the day or the hour, be busy about life. Life a faithful life and do evangelism!”
The best way to prepare for the Lord’s coming is to be doing things that bring glory to God. 1Corinthians 10:31. “So, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
*Seek daily direction from God for the details of the day. Spend time reading God’s Word.
*Have daily dialogue with God and people about the things of God.
*Have a daily discussion. Seek forgiveness for our sins, seek reconciliation wherever we have a breach with someone, restore good relations as much as it depends on you. Share the Gospel with those you meet, especially those you don’t believe are ready to meet Jesus. Live at peace with those around you. (Romans 12:18)
*Seek daily determination. Live your life determined to present yourself to Christ at His appearing in a manor befitting the Bride of Christ. (Matthew 2:1-3) (Inspired by Dr. David Jeremiah, “Turning Points.”)
